May 2026 Pledgemine Updates
This month, we have two product updates to share for Pledgemine.
1) Flexible Postage Class
What’s New?
Previously, postage types were locked into the design of a project. If you needed a specific order to go out via a different mail class (for example, switching from First Class to Nonprofit), it required the creation and approval of an entirely new project.
Effective May 8, we are introducing the ability to change the postage type on a per-order basis for all one-time mailings. This change happens at the time of the order and requires zero design intervention.
Key Benefits
This update is designed to simplify your experience and maximize your budget:
Cost Efficiency: Eliminate the need for secondary projects. Because you no longer need to create "duplicate" versions of a project just to change postage, you save on design fees and project units.
Faster Turnaround: Skip the administrative burden of reviewing and approving multiple versions of the same creative.
Reduced Risk: By using a single design for multiple postage types, we ensure consistency across your mailings and significantly reduce the potential for manual errors.
Operational Flexibility: Adjust to changing postal needs instantly at the time of order submission.
Postage changes for one-time mailings will be managed by the EverTrue team during the ordering process. This allows us to ensure your project maintains its design integrity while giving you the flexibility you need.
2) Required Donor IDs
“DonorID” (aka remote or constituent ID) has become a required field in Pledgemine in order to create a unified contact record for every donor.
Every system has a unique ID. We’re requiring that ID so we can give you a 360-degree view of what actually drives your constituents to act. Head to our help article to assist you in finding Donor IDs from your CRM.
