All mailings sent through Pledgemine must have postage paid ahead of time before the order is released from our facility. Pledgemine manages each customer's balance through a postage account, and when mailings are released, postage is subtracted.

Our platform allows flexible postage classing on a per-order basis for both one-time and on-demand mailings. You don’t need to lock a project into a single postage type at the design phase. Instead, you can choose the most cost-effective or timely option at the moment you place your order. For one-time mailings, this is handled with your Project Coordinator at the time of approval. For on-demand mailings, use the Postage Type dropdown when uploading your data file.

*Non-machinable stamps will incur an extra $0.05 charge per piece for a total of $0.10 per piece

Non-Profit Mail

• Average Delivery Speed: 1-3 weeks (dependent on location, see USPS map for details)

• Common Uses:

  • Appeals (not time sensitive)

  • Stewardship

  • Reminders

• Undeliverable pieces not automatically returned by the USPS to the sender. An ancillary endorsement must be present if you would like pieces returned. There is a cost from USPS for any of these services.

 

 First-Class Mail

• Average Delivery Speed: 2-5 days (dependent on location, see USPS map for details)

• Common Uses:

  • Time-Sensitive Appeals

  • Pledge fulfillment

  • Premium Pieces

• Undeliverable pieces automatically returned by the USPS to the sender with reason for non-delivery

• Use this for high-priority segments within a larger project to ensure speed and data hygiene.

 

Postcard Mail

• The following solutions, and only the following solutions, qualify for a discounted "First Class Postcard" rate: 1DA, 1EA, 1FA, 1UA, 14A

International Mail

• Average Delivery Speed: Varies by location

• Undeliverable pieces automatically returned by the USPS to the sender with reason

• International mail is released once per week, typically on Wednesdays
